Castle Hedingham Bowls Club is situated amidst the countryside on the Essex/Suffolk borders in the village of Castle Hedingham near the historic Hedingham Castle.  The Club has a six rink green, a pavilion complete with lounge bar, kitchen and function room.  During the winter the function room accommodates three mats for 'carpet' bowls.

The Club is open to both lady and men bowlers and has a membership of about 60 full members plus 20 social members. Members play in the North West Essex league, North Essex Federation league and the Steeple Bumpstead league as well as a number of friendly fixtures.

New members are welcome. Membership can be obtained by submitting an application form (available from the Club) or attending one of the periodic Open Days when potential bowlers can try their hand. Shoes and woods are available for use by new members so you can see if you enjoy bowling before buying any equipment.

The Club has 3 coaches who will provide practical help and advice as required.
